Boinc client and Win8 release canditate
is there a version of boinc client that runs on win8 release candidate.
when I try to install the software to run WCG II get the error:

Failed to add user to the 'Boinc_admins' group
(Boinc Master)

Then it exits the install with the message boinc client not installed
go to file where downloaded and click on the install link.

What version are you trying to install? I would try BOINC 7.0.28 as it is the latest.

It's not finished, but that you've accepted by running BOINC on a non final operating system.

Please do not refer folk to this Berkeley page without guidance on what they're looking at [prefer no mention at all is made of that list]. There are some serious broken releases on there, and 7.0.28 is *not* good for W8... works for one but not the other.

don't understand your message.
problem resolved, I, only, downloaded the version it offered when I hit the download link from the WCG home page.
reinstalled with version suggested and works fine.
