I've been running BOINC for two years and maybe a month or so ago, it has stopped doing work. I haven't change any preferences of running time.
Even weirder, i'm suscribed to Einstein at home and world community grid, but only the former downloads packages. Any clues about how to solve the two issues? |

Have you tried downloading and installing the latest version of Boinc?

To see if WCG can be connected to successfully go into the Project Tab of BOINC Manager , select Einstein and suspend project. Then select WCG and hit update. When done visit the message/event log and post copy of the message log from start to the point after connection to WCG fails. This will give us most of what we need to know. (plz, ignore these upgrade talks. We don't know why at all... could be security software that was upgraded and now blocking the secure WCG connection) TTYL --//-- |

Hello rodrigolealc,
One example of what can cause that is downloading the broken libcurl that BOINC included in version ?6.12.34? through 7.0.37?. It only broke WCG for systems using a proxy server since only WCG uses secure commo. To help with examples like this, we ask for a post of the first page of BOINC messages after a reboot so we can see what sort of system you are running. Lawrence |
