My returning theme and doing some tests, following was found:

The latest Avista (7.0.1426) was heavily web scanning, so set an exception for:

a) http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/ (address but not anything forking from this outside of the domain)
b) https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/ (same as above)

The only slowness was the Recent Threads view, logged in, with a 30 posts setting and 10 when not logged in (default). Oddly though, this slowness is only on the http://www address, the https://secure sips along just fine. All other sub forums perform well. (Indexing issue?)

The frustration on FF, now version 12 on Windows continues to be logging out, being transported to the WCG home page and the browser freezing for near 15 seconds. The wait continues to be on googleanalytics, per the address showing left bottom in web browser.

This is the only site to which this happens.

FF has the WebRep (Web Reputation plugin installed, showing WCG as "good rating, but with limited votes"). Disabling this plug in makes no noticeable difference.
