I've been looking for a widget to show statistics from "My Grid" on my old Android phone, but without much luck.
I'm surprised this doesn't exist yet. It's so simple: You just pull the statistics from "My Statistics"-page, and show them inside the homescreen widget.. Have nobody thought of this? What's the problem? It would only need to update itself two times a day, so battery consumption would almost be zero. (I am considering making this myself, if it really doesn't exist..) |

Have you checked the Stats Sites yet? There are several that have everything you would need already accumulated in one place, so putting it into an App shouldn't be too hard. I did a yahoo search with the terms 'boinc stats on your smart phone' and got a bunch of links, these are just some of them. I'm sorry for this very delayed answer (I've spent time finishing my college exams).
----------------------------------------mikey159b: I've looked at some of those stats pages, but is there any good reason why I shouldn't use worldcommunitygrid.org -> "Statistics" -> "By Members"? The user would only have to type in his or hers username (once). And then the application parses the data directly from the web page itself, regularly, without needing to log in. I've also looked at the links you provided, but didn't find them very helpful, since I was looking for a custom small widget for the homescreen. The idea was to show the standard WCG icon, and then some chosen statistics below. If anybody else also wants the widget, I could start working on it..
