Migration de statistiques / Save my stats before changing account

Bonjour,

Hello,

I actually use my account for my personnal computers AND for those on witch I instal boinc. But they're more and more computer who're not in my familly who are link with my personnal account.

That's why I want to delete my current account to make to seperat account, one for my personnal use, the other for all the computer on witch I install boinc.

But I would like to know if and how I can send my stats on my new account.

Thanks a lot

Hello JCARRAZE,
BOINC tries to unite accounts with the same email address. You need 2 email addresses. I do not know if there is a way to split up old statistics from several computers in one project. I do not think it can be done. You can certainly do this for the future.

Okay, sad that it can be done, my stats was not so bad "Accumulated Points: 8,329,321 :: Current Ranking: 8,097"

Thanks for the answer.

Since a year or two you cannot use the same email address anymore for multiple accounts at WCG [following much lament such as that certain 3rd party stats sites, the first account with a CPID is tallied and the others are dropped and that other BOINC projects use the email address as account record, not the member ID]. If you have an account at WCG and try to create a new account [at least when last I tried in about 2010] and use the same email address, you cannot save the profile. Nothing is certain, so maybe it's possible again... let me try to create member 591,413 with same addy and see how it works today...

I'll be back

edit: I'm back, and yes, you cant use an previously registered email address on a new account for then you get:

E-mail Address has already been used. Forgot Member Name?

... to include the query for the forgetful if they have an account already (and how to recover).
