This explains why I suddenly fell way behind in the results ranking while crunching other projects. I had dropped below a results ranking of 4000 and recently have been sliding back to 5000.

I am not sure if that is the correct reason for your case.
----------------------------------------If you take a look on the dates, it happened during around 2.5 weeks in April and it probably did not impact very much crunchers. For my-self, with an "HCMD2 only" setting, I experienced a "progress" of 20 or 25 in the returned results ranking during this time. At the same time, we had a lot of problems with so many (>1'000) WUs per day. Cheers, Yves |

I had stopped crunching right after 2 years on projects since there was always a new project to chase after. Scanning down my statistics by projects I could definately see a large variation the number of WUs processed to achieve 2 years. The most were HCC with 4,831 and HCMD with 4,281 results returned. The projects with the lowest number of returns were the projects that I just finished: DSFL at 1,583, GFAM at 1,687, and CEP2 at 1,839 results. I'm sure thats what really did it in the long term. So far CFSW is having quick jobs, so maybe I can make up lost ground while crunching that project.

CFSW does, in fact something made them run even faster... could be the delayed full effect of having added a 64 bit processing version, but also the summer holidays, the "never will stop" crunchers taking a bigger share of the reduced daily volume. See http://bit.ly/WCGART to see the drop in mean times for all sciences run times. 0.7 hours yesterday, which is faster than my fastest [CFSW] cruncher under Linux, which takes 46-47 minutes to do one.
