Hi all. I've been donating computer time to WCG for more than 6 years. I've also helped two institutions to establish their teams and one of them became a WCG partner. I'm happy I can contribute to this outstanding initiative but I must confess that, regarding this specific project, I have a selfish interest. I suffer from essential tremor since I was young. I'm almost 70 now but I still hope I'll benefit from the results of the Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy project. Thank you all for keeping my hopes alive.

I'm almost 70 now but I still hope I'll benefit from the results of the Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy project. Thank you all for keeping my hopes alive. I used to work with a person who had this affliction. He is now retired, but several years ago he had a device which was implanted in his brain to control the tremor. It took about 6 months after the operation to get the device programmed correctly, but it eventually cut the tremor level by about 90%. One of the miracles of modern medicine. Cheers
