This is probably a silly question, I assume that "work done" totals in BOINC manager refers to results not points - is that correct? If so, is there any way to get the manager to show points instead?
----------------------------------------Also, is there any way to get the manager to show all results from all projects I've ever crunched? I started crunching back in 2006 but have had some breaks along the way along with some changes of project and team. It would be good if I could see my total accumulated results/points in the manager. Any way to do this?  |

You are asking questions in the wrong place. BOINC has nothing to do with WCG, it 'belongs' to Berkley/Seti. ....and 'point' are nothing to do with BOINC, points are purely WCG, inherited from UD Grid, and will never appear on BOINC, (IMHO)

To get ALL your BOINC projects, they MUST have all been done using the same e-mail addy......

You are encountering pedants when the discussion turns to BOINC credits versus WCG points. What you need to do is check out the BOINCstats web site. It is complicated.Lawrence |

You are asking questions in the wrong place. This is probably a silly question, I assume that "work done" totals in BOINC manager refers to results not points - is that correct? If so, is there any way to get the manager to show points instead? 7 WCG-"points" as shown on WCG's web-site equals 1 Cobblestone as shown as "Work done" in your BOINC Manager or on stats-sites like Boincstats and so on. Anything crunched with the old UD-agent will not show-up under BOINC, in case there's a difference between the numbers appart for the 7x conversion-factor. As for result-history, WCG web-pages shows only limited info with how many results validated any given day, appart for the totals for each sub-project. BOINC-client does include a list of all successfully finished results in the BOINC data-directory in a file called job_log_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.txt but has no info about validation or crediting. If not mis-remembers the file was added to the v5.10.xx-clients, so anything crunched with older BOINC-client won't be listed.  "I make so many mistakes.
