No Tasks Being Received

I just revived my old system, which ran WCG for a number of years. I re-installed the client, but when I request new tasks, it says "request completed: got 0 new tasks." I'm connected to the internet, have allowed the client access, but remain thoroughly stumped. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This change is starting now. We are stopping the scheduler (which will prevent the software clients from getting new work or reporting completed work) and we are stopping file uploads for the duration of the change.

The link to the thread addressing the changes eventually showed a post that said the changes should be complete, and I should be getting new task. I still am not. It was asked earlier that I post more messages after startup, so here they are. They are repetitive, but they are all I'm seeing.

The bolded line is the one that catches my attention. Try clearing your local preferences and it will go back to the settings you have on the website. It varies by client version but it should be something like Tools-->Preferences-->Clear button.
I assume you have not set the project to get no new tasks.
If all else fails, click on World Community Grid on the projects tab and hit Reset.
Sometimes it's the most unexpected things that make a difference.

I have similar issue: yesterday, due to system error, I lost some files from the partition where BOINC data folder is located. Of course, according to Murphy's law, BOINC folder was affected as well. I tried to recover some files, but with no luck. I recovered client_state.xml (so I was able to keep my old device ID), but currently processed workunits were lost and now are reported as errored.
To ensure that I have all the necessary files, I decided to reset local setting and the entire project as well. The client downloaded some files required by project, but for two days I have exactly the same problem as Duke: messages "Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks". What else I can do?

Does BOINC Manager say that you have no tasks running in the Tasks Tab?
What does the Project Tab say?

The line that stands out to me is "2012-04-11 23:36:54 Disk: 391.05 GB total, 33.16 GB free". Check your settings on the website under disk usage. There is a line to leave at least x GB free and one for do not use more than x percent.

You're currently running over 90% utilized and this might be causing issues for you.
