Ever since the Server update my User Averages have been up and down , and I guess that was to be expected.
But... Recently the numbers have gone down a Lot ! I haven't changed anything. I'm running (c4cw only) on 2 computers with i7 / 8 thread CPU's, 24/7. I has thought it was said that the points would be increased to bring WCG more in line with the wider Boinc world. But that doesn't seem to be the case for me Anyone have any ideas what is going on ??? ![]() |

Right about March 22/23 I think the servers were switched back to sending out single results to reliable hosts. Other than that, your numbers do not match the project averages... so something is on for your device(s)
----------------------------------------http://bit.ly/WCGCCW http://bit.ly/WCGCPH Why we had the acute spike after March 6, and then the tail off to about 20% above what it was before, I don't know. Was brought to the attention of the chief architect [in the WCG server room]. Whilst we like to be on par with the reference projects, there's no saying that what is being compared with is not contaminated [has a considerable GPU component in the credit per second matrices] Whilst, please replot and show what you had from about March 1, else we'd get all the wrong picture as were it before March 10 at RAC ~7800 for you. edit: The second of the 2 charts linked above show C4CW right near the WCG media for the 7 day average, but it has moved to lower spot since last few day. --//-- Note to admin: Please move to BOINC support. FWIW this is what I have-mainly sn2s, some CEP and atouch of other active projects (no graphics processing) A little bit of the downturn around the 28th was me losing some cores but other than that and the resulting catch-up, it seems pretty steady (I don't know how to graph out earlier days on the user average)

There's an <options> for the cc_config.xml. Mine is set for 90 days, default 30 days:
----------------------------------------<save_stats_days>90</save_stats_days> Of course the My Grid > My Statistics > Statistics History is since first day of membership, and quickly plotted in any spreadsheet program. --//-- edit: btw, pramo, your's looks fair. The mean increase since server 700 start on March 6 is about 19-20%. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Apr 3, 2012 12:25:52 PM] |

I did go to the the Stat History but was in a hurry (At the day job ) and didn't want to just put up a wall of text/numbers and the pics *almost* went back far enough. yes, the increase looked good to me too. ![]() |

I thought my stats were going crazy before , but this takes the cake.
I wonder what happened ? Is it maybe because of the Boinc 7.0.27 ? It's normal on my box with 6.10.58. Not a problem really , I just thought it was kinda funny. ![]() |
