Hello halfcard,
I don't see any mistakes. Of course, we come in at the very tail of the list. Most eyes that see us will be glazed over and will probably not notice the list of projects over on the right side. Most other projects get a description of what they are doing. But we just get a list of projects without a description. Lawrence |

Hey, Lawrence-
----------------------------------------I just looked at the page, a new one to me. I do not understand if there is a material difference between "distributed computing" and "grid computing". A collaboration on one project vs a collaboration on a multiplicity of projects? Rosetta is qualitatively if not quantitatively just as complex as WCG. So is Folding@home. We did get put with GPUGrid, which does make some sense. Except that our stuff is all over the globe and their stuff is I believe in one institution in Spain, more lke Rosetta which is at "U Dub". I think that the Wikipedia page is poorly structured. |

I think that the Wikipedia page is poorly structured. that's what i think too. looks like someone kindly tried to arrange things, but the end result seems to be confusion. |

It's easy to sit on the sidelines and comment. Why don't you do something constructive about it, if it's such a worry to you there is a bit of irony in your own post, yes? i don't know how editing wiki works, especially with all those charts in the article. maybe not so easy. have a look at the 'edit' section, you will see what i mean. |

It's easy to sit on the sidelines and comment. Why don't you do something constructive about it, if it's such a worry to you I am registered to create articles and edit existing articles at Wikipedia. This means that I have enough experience to know what to touch and what not to touch. Whoever did this article did a tone of work. I would not dream of touching it. |

Hi halfcard,
i agree they did a lot. if i knew more about editing i would put wcg up at the top even if not, something looks wrong with those breakdowns. Bingo! The top list describes projects. The bottom list should also describe the projects running on each grid under some header lines for each grid describing how to attach to that grid, who runs it, etc.Lawrence |
