They're constantly suspended. Help?

Re: Units not running?

Wait! Let me use my crystal ball ... nope didn't work.

What are "they" as in project and what are you looking at tells you "they" are constantly suspended. A little info about your machine config would be nice to. wink

Re: Units not running?

Perhaps somehow you accidentally paused the project in your boinc manager? Or perhaps you paused boinc itself via the icon in the system tray?

You can always reboot and run boinc manager again and it SHOULD start back up then.

Re: Units not running?

Hi Pyce,

This is as scant a support request as they come. My C-ball is equally dysfunctional on such cases. Let's start with you opening the BOINC Manager and find the message view, copy all lines top to bottom and paste it in your next post. That'will allow us to read a lot of the setup and activity.

Perhaps a square C-ball would? laughing

This is as scant a support request as they come.
And I thought the ambodach* request for help then was certainly scant.. I hope no one tries "Trinity!... Help!" laughing

It is probably the suspend while the pc is in use or the don't crunch unless at least 25% of the cpu is free settings. They are both in the Boinc Manager, down by the clock, and then under the Tools, Computing Preferences, processor usage tab. Check the box to use the pc while computer is in use and change the 25% to zero % and then click ok at the bottom to save the settings.
