HPF2: WU in results status for a long time

Maybe this has been asked before, I just can't find an answer, but I have a number of WU which have been in my "Results Status" page for a long time marked as valid but they don't seem to be contributing to any of my totals.

The various WUs all have their tasks returned and the WU marked as valid.

So how long should it take before they disappear from my "Results Status" page? confused

Just wondering if this is stuck because of some of the recent upgrades applied on the server.

Edit: Add science to topic for clarification.

Maybe this has been asked before, I just can't find an answer, but I have a number of WU which have been in my "Results Status" page for a long time marked as valid but they don't seem to be contributing to any of my totals. "Seem?" Valid result credits are added to the My Grid statistics when the next update is run... every 12 hours. Them staying on the Result Status page is FYI for those who like to see how a result ended up, which of course is in the valid state.

The various WUs all have their tasks returned and the WU marked as valid.

So how long should it take before they disappear from my "Results Status" page? confused When the techs are ready to migrate complete batches to the master database. The staying suggests results are still missing from these batches.

Just wondering if this is stuck because of some of the recent upgrades applied on the server.

Continue to not consider this slow removal in anyway important. Knreed posted recently that when it's automatic [complete batches], they usually last 1-2 days after validation before moved off. Presently for most sciences it's actually much faster, 12 hours if lucky.

P.S. The crediting in the BOiNC agent is ''live''. Each connect the updated tally is transferred. Some use a Vista/W7 widget to monitor their credit progression on the desktop. Mine is actually integrated in the FF webbrowser and refreshes hourly.

Re: WU in results status for a long time

Steve W may be referring to the dddt2 WUs from January that are still listed in the Results Status. I have 21 pages of these. This has happened before with dddt2 so I am not too worried. They always eventually disappear.

Re: WU in results status for a long time

Yes, but then he'd put it in the wrong forum. Got a few dozen DDDT2 valids still there... and the story remains the same. Some batch / result statuses prevent the migration. Occasionally the stats show 1-2-4 valid results on a random day, suggesting intermittent work is done in the spare moments to clear parts out. Galveston continues not to appear as being in a rush [science cant be rushed]

P.S. Which is why I prefer members to put the subject science in the topic, so there is no doubt what we're talking about. If it were about proteome folding, then: HPF2: WU in results status for a long time

Re: WU in results status for a long time

There is a batch that got stuck in terms of being deleted. We have cleared the issue blocking it and these will get deleted in the next day or two.

Re: WU in results status for a long time

I have a completed WU on my results page from three months ago.

qd470_ 00114_ 7-- server-41528 Valid 4/16/12 09:00:54 4/16/12 21:39:34 7.69 198.5 / 213.6

Looks like another stuck batch ... maybe kneed can confirm?

Re: WU in results status for a long time

Hello AgrFan,
This is almost a permanent 'feature'. I usually have 3 or 4 results that hang on for 2 or more months after validation. Others disappear within 2 or 3 days after validation. As a result, I have pretty much stopped quoting any 'rules' about how long a result will stay on the Results Status page.
