Re: GPU WU too late? Really

Yes, it looks like the result distribution was disbanded for 20925 and credit was given to all that were not flat error. Summary:

20942_2 was valid
20925_3 had could not find an agreeing wingman.

The techs, mainly knreed, is pulling hair atm. Lots more beta's to come and some will be with intermission i.e. beta's wont run back to back and weeks could pass without a new test. One would think after 3 years of GPU development in BOINC world it would be a maturing business, but no, it's not so "out of the box" as what was dreamed of... and this version is 1 image. The production version is intended to have quite a few packaged to not break the server schedulers, transitioners, validators etc.

Well, as they say: no pain, no gain. The bigger the obstacle to surmount and the more pain in the conquest, the sweeter the victory. wink
