Hello every body,
----------------------------------------Yesterday, i took back a Boinc installation from my shop to sent results (no internet on the PC when this installation run since 3 years). So, i sent back more thant 5 days with a core 2, just for that pc, plus 2 core 2 quad(about 14/24) that run and 2 core 2 duo (24/24) at home. After having sent all results yesterday, i checked and most of the results were "valid". When i check my stats today, i see that i have only a little bit more than 7 days validated yesterday, which is impossible. Are you aware of the problem and are you trying to find a solution. Curiously, when i check my tasks, all tasks that i have quite no more tasks returned yesterday, most of then disapearde. Hello boulmontjj,
There is a known bug that causes Valid results to quickly disappear from the Results Status page. It will be fixed. Lawrence |

... to add, these valid results have been and are added to the My grid tally. Best place to visit is My Grid > My Statistics > Device Statistics > History to see the daily additions per client.

Thank you for your so quick answer.
----------------------------------------Exactly Seb, and when i check the results by unit, most of my valid WU from yesterday desappeared ! I have lost a lot of valid WU yesterday that i can't find anywhere in the stats (total by project, total of member, history by unit, ...). |

boukmontjj, the emphasis on "disappeared from the Result Status page". Global stats totals *strongly* suggest that if at all something is lost, it's only for you ;P
As knreed explained elsewhere, the valid results are currently very rapidly to the master database, not the usual 1-2 days. The effect is that they get removed as quick from the Result Status pages. This is [I think] due to how standard BOINC server works where WCG just upgraded to version 7... At other projects you sometimes can barely blink and eye and you wont see the valid results listed be gone. The numbers are though live added to your project tallies and once per 12 hours the My Grid page is updated to reflect the latest live numbers. --//-- |

Sek, sorry for the Seb on my previous post.
----------------------------------------I check every day my stats and when i see 1:236:18:16:57 for GFAM, i'm quite sure there is a problem. I went to check the stats as you suggest My Grid > My Statistics > Device Statistics > History to see the daily additions per client and the installation that returned more than 10 days yesterday show 0 yesterday. Anyway, i will continue to crunch, the stats are just for the fun but the stats problem just arrive a bad day for me as i currious to see how many day i was going to return letting run all my PC at home as long as possible during a day in addition to a core 2 Duo having run for more than 5 days at my shop. We can close the discussion. |
