There is a saying that goes something like 'God never gives us more than we can handle'! Be strong and trust in The Lord!! It is a VERY good thing you caught it early, it sounds like things have STOPPED getting worse and she is now on the mend!

Update: My wife is still in the hospital. The doctors are still not sure what happened. One thing they do know is that there was some bleeding in the area of the brain that controls all your motor functions. They believe it may be some kind of birth defect that is just now manifesting itself. She has had a battery of tests with more sceduled.

My best thoughts to both of you again.
Blood arteries and vessels may have a weakness in their wall from birth that all of a sudden manifests. I think the word is an "anorysm". I had a family member suffering an anorysm bursting in her brain and a friend with one bursting in his midriff. Both survived with no damage afterwards. I hope the same for your wife, nano, so you two can go travelling again. |

Thanks to all for the kind words and prayers. My wife came home Wednesday night. Her final diagnosis was cavernous hemangioma which is not classified as a stroke but can produce stroke like symptoms. The doctor said her condition is not that uncommon and will require monitoring. She should lead a normal healthy life. PLT.
