I see, but I need about a week to complete one task. After what period of time a task is reassigned to another CPU if no result has been returned

Don't feel bad, this is my first task, over 40 hours at 100% and only 90% finished. BUT THAT IS OK !!!!! This is why ALL of our machines are needed.
MY machine will keep working on these, no matter HOW long it takes. It's about time it did SOMETHING worthwhile!!! ![]() |

YEP totally agree! I have 3 PC's crunching now, one PC with 1Ghz CPU just
did 4 % in about 4 hours... must be a big proteine, but I will crack it in about 4 days then 24x7 However, it would have been nice if they told us in advance... Also, at what point does the server consider a work unit 'lost' if I dont't return in a week with the results for example, will my effort be wasted? Another nice feature would be: 'stop after the next upload', so a CPU can part as a friend instead of being an [cencored] and never return the work unit. |
