Hello,
----------------------------------------is there any particular reasons behind the fact I am getting very few WUs of DSFL in a profile mixing these SN2S and GFAM? And I do see anyway that something is going on, yesterday only 18 years were reported to the servers. Thanks. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 29, 2012 6:30:29 PM] |

Hi,
Easy to overlook... don't know why not stickied into the DSFL forum, but there is a forced slow down due to result receipt offload problems to the scientists. Sorry, but cant bend steel with bare hands. --//-- |

The post at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,32608 says the following:
" Due to an outage on the research server for this project, we are currently unable to download new batch inputs or send results back to the researchers. As a result, we have lowered the priority of this project to allow the existing supply of work units to last a longer period of time. " The post was made over two weeks ago on February 20, 2012. |

Hello herflick,
----------------------------------------I have not heard anybody guessing how long it will take them to get a supplementary budget request through the system to fix the problem. Let us hope it goes through this month. Lawrence Added: I don't really know what is slowing down DSFL, but the reason I just mentioned has slowed down other projects in the past. Regarding the DSFL project, we had an inconvenient at the local server in Colombia. The server that storage the data in our Lab. Give this, the project was slowed down by the WCG team, but it will return to normality soon. However, the current processed data are save.
Thank you for asking |

Thanks Carlos for clarifying issues. Glad to hear that things will be returned to normal in the near future and that all the current, processed data is safe

I don't think it is the same problem. In my case, all projects go smoothly, just DSFL gives many errors and delays.

Hello vep,
3 recent projects (DSFL, GOFAM and SN2S) are all using the VINA program. Some people are running into errors using VINA on computers that are set to run at less than 100% speed. They get an error message saying that their work unit had too many exits. What sort of errors are you getting? Lawrence |

The work-unit feeder priority returned to "NORMAL" on the dashboard. I hope this means we get back to regular crunching on this project.
