I have changed of project to crunch the 18/02/2012 and now I win less that points than before as you can see below
---------------------------------------- Does it normal ? Does is depends on the selected project ? that's amazing !! As you can see below before I won 61 points per minutes and now 46.  I am pretty sure that If I rechange my settings and choose clean energy I will retrieve the same progression. Best Regards, Fabrice  |

Each project does the research a little differently therefore the credits are awarded a little differently, as well as their amounts.   |

Watching BOINCstats for daily credit is''pointless'' unless comparing at a per-hour crunch time level [at the WCG Result Status pages, not at BOINCstats]. GFAM validations are delayed many times due the quorum 2 requirement, giving half of the claimed total credit by the 2 wing-men, which can work out more or less, whereas CEP2 gives credit just per the Quorum 1. For some this works out as more credit, for some less, as a low claiming device will also get [the same] low grant. In past when CEP2 was quorum 2, the low claiming device often got more [half of the difference].
----------------------------------------For now, I've been told that nothing at all will be done to the credit system until the new server software [upgrade to v7] has been completed [see past posts by knreed for discussion]. Supposedly this fixes some of the obvious disparities. I'll reserve right to comment and wait and see what comes out of that. And do we crunch for credit?
