hello forum,
i have a problem with my boinc client, i wan to pause all my tasks(i know how to do that), but when i do, community grid automaticly adds about 8 new ones, i have seen the message on the FAQ, but that doesn't help, it keeps adding them when i pause the previous ones,(btw. this only happens with community grid projects |

hmmm, work suspending would always pause work fetching for the affected project, except if you have a really old client like 5.2, ORRRRRR, you are using one of the 7. alpha clients. Use for testing purposes only and know what you're getting into. So, without further ado, what exact client version are u running?
Now, if you have multiple project attached to the client, say WCG and Rosetta, and you pause Rosetta tasks, then the client tries to fill the gap with other active project tasks... that could be WCG in your case. CA needs more input. --//-- |

Suspend your tasks AFTER setting "No new tasks" under the project tab....

 You must be using the SUSPEND button in Tasks for a specific work unit. If you go to Projects and select the SUSPEND button for WCG, then all WCG work units are suspended and no more tasks are downloaded. Lawrence |

i am using the latest non testing version: 6.12.x
but now it's not happening anymore, and i did all the steps like everone here was saying before i posted this. no i'm not having this problem anymore(at the moment) could it be because i have these projects: - Primegrid - milkyway@home - einstein@home - GPUgrid - WCG - Seti@home |
