This is one of my priority projects but in the last two days I haven't received new tasks. I wonder if it is a problem with my settings. Or maybe it is simply because there are no new tasks available. I'll apprecate any hint on this.

Well, I believe that WU's are still available for HCMD2 (although not for much longer - as the project is coming to a close), so it must be something to do with your end.
----------------------------------------Have you a large cache of work? - as one of the strong possibilities is that your cache is higher (or at least BOINC is thinking it's higher) than what you've asked for in your cache settings. This could be due to your DCF (check the FAQ's) is currently reading higher than normal due to the wide variety of runtimes HCMD2 WU's can generate.  |

Key is, what's printed in the message/event log view? If similar to 3177 World Community Grid 1-2-2012 14:37:20 No work is available for Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy, Phase 2 then there is no work presently of parents. Children are currently not being reported as being distributed. If alternate work is being send or long as the client is *still* busy on cached HCMD2 [you don't tell], things are working as per design. Else, follow gb009761 for guidance... --//-- |

just tried and i am receiving tasks no problem.... not sure what the issue might be

It's likely the inflated caching size gb009761 pointed at, which then temporarily stops the work fetching. Regrettable, many cries for help offer little firm info to give an up front *best fitting* response.

Hi Seke,
Messages say completed tasks have been uploaded, nothing about availablity of new tasks. Right now I have 4 tasks ready to report and no task running. They've been sitting there for a few hours and were not reported immediately after they were finished. Thanks. |

OK, plz go to the Project tab, select WCG and hit Update button on left. Things are often starting to move again. In local or web preferences set the Additional Buffer to 1.0 days. This seems to work in stopping the client from falling asleep.
Let us know what happens, or post message log copy so we can read BOINC's actions. --//-- |
