QOV batches have a failure.
You can abort the download and the work unit as well.

Thanks, that did the trick!

Congratulations for all to achieve their goals on that project !

Stay tuned for news from scientists as they have the hard work now in their laboratories.
But go on crunching for others projects !

We need help mainly for "orphan diseases" as they hit children first and because governments around the world disregard research on these by cutting the funds.

Had the same issue. Quad core machine was sitting dry with 4 tasks in the "download" state

Re: Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy Phase 2 - 18 days left of new work

Eeek! Mr Sek's graphs show only one day of WU's left. sad I really need things to linger for about another 4 days to hit my goal of 3 years crunch time. And that's with a full cache. Looks like I'll be scavenging for resends etc.

This one's going to be a photo finish I think. tired

Re: Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy Phase 2 - 18 days left of new work

The grid is still sending out the 2541 of the fourth generation work units. We should see the fifth generation starting tomorrow and they won't run nearly as long as the previous iterations.

Only the techs know with any certainty and this project is notorious for unknown difficulty of compounds, but I'd say we have a few days left before it's all resends.

As for the download sticking, the resends are getting to the _4 and _5 stage so hopefully we won't be dealing with those after a couple more time-outs.

Looking at my results, I got one of those units for both _3 and _4 on separate machines. Averaging 1-2 per day and I just abort the stuck transfer.

Re: Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy Phase 2 - 18 days left of new work

The recent average runtime of about 4.5 hours is not tailing off, meaning that the small final offspring is still not being crunched. In fact, this is odd, the mean run time is higher compared to the week before. The short history of time per unit and total results validated:

SEP.16-12 3,70177 85,928
SEP.17-12 3,79212 88,049
SEP.18-12 3,80847 83,804
SEP.19-12 3,70338 85,014
SEP.20-12 3,56603 86,090
SEP.21-12 3,50596 81,300
SEP.22-12 3,65378 76,635
SEP.23-12 4,00211 72,920
SEP.24-12 4,27105 83,211
SEP.25-12 4,45685 79,821
SEP.26-12 4,53582 81,703
SEP.27-12 4,67058 80,330
SEP.28-12 4,64995 84,404
SEP.29-12 4,46649 83,649
SEP.30-12 4,62104 80,225

Doing 80K tasks a day, there's life left, but how much is anybody's guess.
