Reinstalled Windows and BOINC - now where do my results go?

Hi all, I have had to reinstall Windows 7 after wiping my hard drive. I made sure the computer name was the same as before, and reinstalled BOINC. It is working away and claims to be sending results but I can't see them on my account... any idea how I can check where they are going? Thanks

Could they be pending? If you click on Results Status the default is to see ALL units, but you can filter them by using the drop down lists. When you are at the My Statistics page MAKE SURE it is YOUR account you are seeing and the RIGHT one if you have several!

Re: Reinstalled Windows and BOINC - now where do my results go?

An new install on a freshly formatted Windows machine will count as a new device on the grid. As for the next question, no you can't combine them and it's necessary that you can't for auditing purposes. You can have more than one device with the same name, it doesn't matter, but you can't change a device's name once it's inactive/no longer exists. That at least would be handy.
Make sure you connected the new install to the grid using the same member name and password combination as the last one or the returns will be on the accounts for the new name rather than the old one.

hmm - I wasn't asked for a member name/password when I installed BOINC. The messages say "running under account xxxx" where xxxx is my Windows user name, but that's not the same as my member name nor was it before I reinstalled.

Go to the BOINC Manager, advanced tab and look for the member name. If it's not yours, e.g. IBM generic, select the WCG project name and detach with the *remove* button on left. Then attach again via the tools menu *add project*. When getting to the screen where it asks if you're already a member say yes. Then enter your member name/password under which you're now posting.
