It's good to see these systems being used for crunching instead of playing Turbo-Pacman. Who needs 'World of Warcraft' when we have the enthralling Boinc-stats?

----------------------------------------Do you know if your motherboard supports unlocking cores? Alas, it would appear that my cpu was destined as a four core with no L3 from the beginning...
However, I DO have an MSI board that allows for this unlocking of cores. So...... I think you just gave me another project. Finding a cheap processor to turn into a beast!!!!!  Thanks for article, it was a great read. |

Just be careful as this sometimes may not work and I believe only AMD allows unlocking cores.
