Why not a topic on that ;) Should WCG decide on a dedicated support forum (with the future in mind), then this could easily be moved in there.

Good topic Sek. For the Nvidia crowd, EVGA Precission is a good utility for clocking your card(s) and for fan speeds and other information.

Nvidia GPU drivers change often so you might want to bookmark: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us ![]() I am building a new machine and am using an older for me, a 9800 GT, Nvidia gpu and Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate downloaded the Nvidia drivers and Boinc found the gpu and I am now crunching at gpugrid with it! I am impressed that Windows did this on its own, it says I am using version 275.33 and that 'new updates are available'. But since it seems to be working just fine I am leaving it alone, at least for now. ![]() ![]() |

RAdmin - Remote control tool w/o crashing your GPU Task. (Not Free) I have found that Ultra VNC works for controlling multiple pc's from one desktop without crashing the remote pc. I use Win7, Windows Home Server 2011 and Win XP. http://www.uvnc.com/ And it is free! edit: it DOES crash sometimes though when you first try, I have had to do the log-in process as many as 4 times due to the remote video card not letting the screen redraw due it being used to crunch. /edit ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by mikey159b at Feb 23, 2012 1:21:34 PM] |

On the drivers front, for the *nixers that have a higher end NVidia card, there's newly ported drivers out from the OEM in 32 and 64 bits, Linux & FreeBSD:
