Re: Lots of inconclusives

First of all I recommend that you go right to total abject panic. crying Now that that this been achieved, I recommend you ignore the advice of more experienced members:
Still seeing an unusually high number of inconclusives but have seen none go invalid so I'm not going to be concerned.
That too seems to have been achieved; I then recommend you insult those who can help you:
Kind of makes you wonder if they hired some of the admins and devs from Rosetta for the holidays...
Nicely done. Alternatively, you could read the FAQs and see that Inconclusive is a normal state for WCG operations and it happens to all users and all projects.

I have had 1 inconclusive result in the last 220 results. Just relax....

Re: Lots of inconclusives

With the upgrade to server level version 700, these single result sciences require *all* devices to be reproved. All devices have started again from the point of brand new to WCG i.e. a rating of 10%, where the required rating to do it alone is 0.2% error free. Without active validators that is kind of building **. See post by knreed explaining this and FAQ 1P of the Start Here index what the course is to become reliable again.

With the new server software, reliability is tracked at a science app level.

Separate: Some members noted to have received 32 bit C4CW though their OS is 64 bit. Don't know, requires tech comment, but clients *could* now be tested which of the 2 versions are executed faster. Some 64 bit systems process the 32 bit more rapid than the 64 bit science app build. If not, it's a bug to be fixed I suppose.

** Edit: The validators were started: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost_post,367570

Re: Lots of inconclusives

Yeap... all my C4CW WUs (10) came back as inconclusives, except one which came back as Pending Validation. Oh well... will just have to be patient.

Re: Lots of inconclusives

Now I have the next problem.

My Mac (intel) gots a bunch of WUs for power-pc today, which did start each a error-popup message

'You can't open the program: wcg_c4cw_lmps_6.40_powerpc-apple-darwin, because powerPC programs are no longer supported.

More than 100 WUs errored. Daily qutoa of 1 reached. :-(

Update: ok- looks like the server gives me a second chance.

Re: Lots of inconclusives

Not sure why you post this different issue in this thread and not this one: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,32753

Your message log start up section will be welcomed in that thread.
