There is a project in the beta testing if memory serves that is doing gpu support. More should be coming.

16 gigs depending upon the deals you can get that and more for over a 100 bucks stateside. Note unless you need it more then six or eight gigs is overkill.

One thing more important then the amount of RAM is the speed of the RAM. Plus certain models of RAM from certain makers are meant for overclocking.

There is even liquid cooled RAM these days plus air cooling systems for RAM.

Thanks for all the tips and hints guys!

It is hard to believe how cheap you can get a ton of RAM for right now!

Keep crunching!

(And hopefully GPU support is around the corner. My VGA card is just idling away in this case!)
