Setting up working directory

Good Evening
How do you change the working directory in WCG?
I'm running off of my SSD and to reduce wear would like to switch the working directory to my mechanical drive.

Thanks
Jim

Re: Setting up working directory

Hello hamltnblue,
You choose the working directory during the first install.

So I would set 'No New Tasks' for the WCG project on BOINC. After running out the cache, Detach and then uninstall BOINC. Reboot to get into a known good state and then reinstall BOINC from WCG, being careful to sign on with the same email, logon and password. When asked, just accept the default working directory unless you have some special reason to change it. Play with your profile and project settings until you are satisfied. (Do set LAIM to Yes).

Re: Setting up working directory

Thanks
I think I may have done that and selected the mechanical drive. In that drive I found a directory that has a slot subdirectory with 0 thru 7 further sub directories. They randomly update every minute or so.
