<snip> I have just 30 days of crunching times since yesterday, and one member in my team.... so a cool life ;-) ;-) i write also my scientific works into ... Haiku and tanka (japanese poetry) I think some more should keep you company, Geokamayoc Scientific works into Haiko and tanka .... That sounds so cool! Could you give us an example while we wait for the water to run again, please? ![]() |

Hi Little mermaid,
I think Haiku and tanka are wonderful forms of writing expressions !!!! I prefer a great quote than a long thesis to explain a problem. It's the reason I am a nasty duke in the scholarly environment..... ;-) an example , for geographers and versatile scholars: 神の地理 原子 から 天まで 永い 循環 Kaminochiri genshi kara ten made nagai junkan A litteracy translation should be : """the geography of God, From atom , to Sky , An eternal move in circle"""" . it's one of mine!!! In japanese it's good, the translation in english is not great. |

Nice, but back on topic, last word is that the project people in Australia where the results are send, not China as many may have thought, are still working on the server rebuild. Hopefully soon they complete, but this gives time to feed the other sciences with CPU cycles. Yesterday almost set a Saturday all time record of 350 CPU years validated. The number to beat for Sunday is 358, projection 353, but with Sunday there's often an HPF2 validation wave in the afternoon.,
Crunching on, for stuff they can *wet* lab test :D --//-- |

Thank you, Geokamayoc
No, it's not easy to translate, but I think it is nice. Telling how the Geography of eternity circles, and circles from the biggest to the smallest, neverending. Ha! I would think they find you a nasty duke/dude in the scholarly environment It would be hard to get you to march ... - and we need more of your nasty kind with open, creative and flexible minds |

Thanks for the info, Sekerob, we will continue to run other projects waiting for C4CW..... so, the problem is in australia, not in china.
@little mermaid In fact, the main problem in many scholarly environment , it's a clear UNABILITY for INTUITION and imagination, which should be a pillar for each scholar !!!! For many scholars, intuition is spelling NOW : TECHNOLOGY..... I have a huge ability for intuition and imagination in my own scholarly work, but a low ability for technology. It's the reason i am not very confortable in my job environment. |

@little mermaid
our off topic were clearly science related.... Community Advisors will forgive us ;-) But, yes, in the future, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my team thread. |

... that the project people in Australia where the results are send are still working on the server rebuild. --//-- Rob, thanks for the fresh news; what does a server "rebuild" imply? In other words, was it a catastrophic failure that prompted the rebuild? (just curious, as I like briging water to the mill) ![]() ![]() |
