Beta WUs currently visible on WCG are about DSFL (BETA_DSFL...) and a new project to be launched in the coming weeks (BETA_BETA...).
----------------------------------------Projects which are or have been off line recently (HCMD2, C4CW, HFCC, and slowed down HCC) have server related problems which forbid them to receive results as fast as WCG is collecting them. Their WUs are OK, so we crunch them too fast. ![]() |

Not that it really matters, but I was just eight hours away from a gold badge in C4CW when the work units stopped coming.
My computer works fine for the other things I use it for, but its dual core Pentium-4 2.8Ghz processor is now really slow by current standards for WCG crunching. And since I shut it down and restart a few times a day I have been selecting the WCG projects it runs based on how often they write results to disk. C4CW and HCC seem to fit the bill and run well on the 64-bit Linux OS, and I am also close to a gold on HCMD2 so I'll be glad when things get back to normal and all those work units start to flow again. |

Just a note: my linux flash stick laptop picked up (11/14-0635MST) 1 C4cw over night. Pref is set to HFCC, c4cw, cmd, dd2.
It might be a correction/clean up unit because it's due date is only 5days out. Crunch with a SMILE! |

f.a.o. knreed
Doing a Hari Seldon on you, too obvious in it's subtlety: With Clean Water in stasis, what other WCG science apps could the pure 64 bit devices contribute their spare time to, soon? (:fattest wink smilie:) --//-- |

almost one month, without C4CW......... any ideas about the future of the project ???? last month, this problem was only for 7-10 days I'm getting thirsty awaiting the return of C4CW.....Other projects, including 'GO Fight Against Malaria' are benefiting. C4CW is so important and I'm so disappointed by the stasis. John crunching, crunching, crunching. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core Processor with Windows 11 64 Pro.
