Large Scale Computer Integration?

Sorry if this has been discussed already, I wasn't able to find anything on the subject. My question is, is anything being done to get cooperation from schools, businesses, libraries, and anywhere else there is a lot of available processing power?

Re: Large Scale Computer Integration?

Have you looked at the top contributers? Take a look some time and you will see that there are some pretty big hitters and that is typically where their resources are coming from. However, there could be a lot more advertising. Here is one post mentioning SONY getting on board. http://bolt.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=6128 The problem is that not everyone wants added cost during tough financial times and yes it does increase electric costs to run BOINC projects.
