Humm, last 5 days it jumped from 119 days left to 79, that was effect of everyone setting cache to 10 days of wu's ? I had hope to be able to achieve Saphire on this project before ended, then jump to C4CW to try Saphire aswell...

I don't think that people are setting their cache to 10 days yet... the nose dive is probably due to at least 2 things:

Well, so far, this project has been extended a few times already, so, although I'm not saying that it'll receive another target (or two) to process, it's certainly not an impossibility...
----------------------------------------Three way's that'll slow this project down, are; 1) The release of some Beta's, 2) A whole new raft of DDDT2 workload coming down the pipe, and 3) The launch of a new project... As said, watch the chart and if the lines flatten, the year bars start to stay at similar height, the project day changes are starting to go by steps of just 1 up or down a day, then it's a bit settled. Caching up can be started 15-20 days after 30 day call is made, and those following the work unit number in the tasks, know when the last 500,000 are being lined up (since there are 2 per compound, that's a million). The current 7 day average is 67,000 validations, factor 2.25 [incl. repairs etc], i.e about 30,000 compounds per day. You do the sums, and silently plod along, for *this* thread is driving the speed up ;>) (but frankly, WCG only puts X in the feeders. If exclusive crunchers gobble it all up, nothing goes to the mix pool). Enjoy the ride (of this extension 4). --//-- |
