Running Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 AND Folding @ Home

I try to maximize my System for BOINC and Folding@Home (gasp!) so I learned pretty fast that running BOINC's Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 AND FOLDING@Home will generate errors-they both use the GPU and results will be invalid! Thus, I run Folding@Home ONLY when BOINC projects other than Human Proteome Folding - Phase 2 are running. Just thought this might be helpful for others who may be encountering errors in this situation. wink

Human proteome folding doesn't use GPU.

Hi Zenith,

For the time being, WCG doesn't have any projects using GPU, so this can't be the issue here. I think you should dig a little deeper.

It would help to know your machine's configuration (from your event log) and the exact error message that you get for your invalid units.

Hope this helps. Cheers!
