Message from server: (reached daily quota of 4 results)

Recently I noticed that my Boinc is not doing a lot of homework..
went to see the messages and found "Message from server: (reached daily quota of 4 results)" what is that? never have this before..

Are there just not anough projects right now? or how can I increase this daily quota?

It means you may want to visit My Grid > Result Status page. Your computer is very likely returning lots of errors [click on the links to see detail], upon which the daily quota is limited until the problem is solved.

Let us know what you find.

Yes you are right, have a lot of errors there:

the error is very consistant, here it is:
Result Name: ot324_ 00063_ 7--

<core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
The signal handler cannot be set. (0xd2) - exit code 210 (0xd2)
</message>

out of 20 errors one was this:
Result Name: X0000123270151201010011018_ 0--

<core_client_version>6.10.58</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
The system cannot write to the specified device. (0x1d) - exit code 29 (0x1d)
</message>
]]>

Maybe because I have windows 7, and there read/write protection somewhere? but before it was working fine, I did not change anything

Hi,

Have you booted lately? If not, plz do.

If no improvement, suggest to do a reset by selecting WCG in the Projects tab and hit the button on the left.

If that does not change things, reinstall the program (first time it offers repair or uninstall, take uninstall). After, install and make sure to select ''Allow All Users'' somewhere in the 3rd install screen. This screenshot shows the way.

Let us know of your findings.

P.S. Here's a link on and old discussion on exit code -210. Where possible problem with insufficient swapfile space or memory is indicated. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,28695
