What would cause my computer to claim twice the credit that it used to?

bieberj, I see that your system started claiming more credits on the 3rd, starting with 37/hr. It also looks like your system starting to claim less and less (probably until it gets back to normal).
----------------------------------------Normal, when there is an increase/decrease in claim credit it is due to the fact that a benchmark was recently done and something happened during the benchmark. However, that results in consistent claim points. You are getting varying claim points. This happened to me once before, it was due to some strange WU that caused my system to claim a lot more points then normal before slowly getting back to normal. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ead,30870_offset,0#314195  |

The credit system occasionally goes wonky on the server and smacks in a claim that the client did not make, then is so confused that it takes about 20 results for the claim/grants to normalize again. Not sure if a botched client benchmark kicks it off, but having experienced this on my own system, it started one time when no benchmark had been run for days.
Put it in the box "Not to worry, take the credit and run". --//-- |
