Re: Someone well-known with muscular dystrophy

Good article,
I actually read the whole thing.
Anything that can bring more attention/money to a disease is welcome!

Re: Someone well-known with muscular dystrophy

Happen to see a news flash that Jerry Lewis, 85 now, is traveling the world to promote attention for the disease, in fact a quick google shows him to be chairman of the MDA: http://www.mda.org/ . He's retired now from the Telethon part.

Can't say I know him, but I did chase through some links - to his foundation and left a message about HCMD2. Don't suppose I'm the first, but a few WCG links aren't going to go astray...

I decided to give a reference to Alessandra Carbone and that's where the fun-and-games began.

The HCMD link led off to a page-not-found.
The Contacts link led to the same page-not-found
The IT contacts list from the mainpage showed an English-language contact, but emails were bounced (recipient rejected)

I've just received a response "Thanks" from the head-of-department when I notified him of these problems.

Only time will tell whether they actually get fixed...
