Need help with CA Certificate Error?

I'm trying to run WCG on a second computer but I get a CA certificate error. I tried downloading and saving the ca certificate file to program files, but it didn't fix the problem.

Re: Need help with CA Certificate Error?

Hi,

So what is the problem? Got a copy of the client message log for us to look over? Most of the times it's the system date that's completely off.

ttyl.

Re: Need help with CA Certificate Error?

Yes, it appears the system time is off. How can I change it?

Re: Need help with CA Certificate Error?

Oops, that is a 101 question. In the Vista Start bar there's usually on the right the current time/date. Click on that, which will pop up the calendar, then at bottom there's an option to make changes. Not sure though if Vista and W7 is same on that, but think it is.

Re: Need help with CA Certificate Error?

Hi DavidVR,
If you have a date on the bottom right of your screen, click on it to bring up the clock device driver, then tell it to synchronize times over the internet. Alternatively, use Start to get toControl Panel, then find the Clock and synchronize it.

Re: Need help with CA Certificate Error?

PS, wish BOINC did a reality check on start-up and compared the net date with the system date and message that in the log.

Dreams, in the pipe.
