Hey all
----------------------------------------I have seen that I Bionic is only using the cpu even if I have marked "Use gpu always" Any tip how to solve this? Thanks My suggest is that the Boinc shows what gpu is used Regards, Valentin N [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 18, 2011 7:52:21 AM] |

Hi,
sorry, but the number of tips to give on getting your vid-card to work for WCG is about nop-zero-nada-zilch. WCG has no GPU based applications, yet and it will be using OpenCL if/when it comes so I understand. Meantime, please feel free to let your CPU run on the multitude of sciences WCG has to compute the ''classic'' way. --//-- |

BOINC is a standard crunching agent used at many distributed computing projects. A small group of those have a science that either use NVidia CUDA, ATI or both.

Do you know if they make application so that the gpu can be used? As you surely know gpu is far better than the cpu.
Take care Regards, Valentin N |
