Can I ask how many cores you're using? Have tried mainly 4 cores, but switched back to 2 core yesterday, to see if would be better, as expected 4 core to be better. Unsure now...running 2 core might be more productive, given the differences between CPU and Elapsed time. Haven't had any temperature problems, though for the longest unit (6.62 CPU time/ 19.48 Elapsed time), the phone/BOINC got confused at 85% and thought it had only one core. Selecting Project Update fixed it, and went back to 4 cores. Galaxy S3 LTE Android BOINC 7.2.4 Suspect depends on what else running. All results returned so far: BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 2141_ 0-- localhost Valid 15/07/13 11:00:50 15/07/13 17:10:18 3.20 / 5.02 6.1 / 6.1 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 3157_ 1-- localhost Pending Verification 15/07/13 06:34:08 15/07/13 14:22:57 3.36 / 4.57 5.5 / 0.0 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 2055_ 1-- localhost Valid 14/07/13 07:13:40 15/07/13 11:00:14 4.58 / 7.38 8.2 / 13.8 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 2866_ 1-- localhost Valid 14/07/13 04:10:10 15/07/13 06:01:58 3.67 / 6.65 6.5 / 17.8 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 1161_ 0-- localhost Pending Validation 13/07/13 22:02:42 15/07/13 00:52:44 2.87 / 9.31 10.9 / 0.0 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 0274_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 15:10:14 14/07/13 17:48:37 3.59 / 11.89 14.4 / 13.2 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 1337_ 1-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 15:10:13 14/07/13 22:21:31 4.72 / 15.42 15.5 / 14.7 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 3002_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 10:37:16 14/07/13 20:14:44 6.62 / 19.48 26.1 / 20.8 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 1255_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 09:04:06 14/07/13 04:10:10 3.02 / 10.06 13.5 / 17.3 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 1237_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 09:04:06 14/07/13 11:42:36 3.83 / 13.87 19.2 / 12.1 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 2092_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 09:04:06 14/07/13 07:13:40 3.86 / 13.77 18.4 / 19.5 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 2015_ 0-- localhost Pending Validation 13/07/13 09:04:06 14/07/13 04:10:10 4.98 / 15.30 20.5 / 0.0 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 0448_ 1-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 01:28:09 13/07/13 22:02:41 3.62 / 10.01 13.4 / 11.9 BETA_ FAHV_ x4I7G_ RT_ NNRTIadj_ wNNRTI_ 0045262_ 0730_ 2-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 01:28:09 13/07/13 12:24:06 3.30 / 6.18 8.3 / 10.6 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 4393_ 0-- localhost Valid 13/07/13 01:28:09 13/07/13 15:10:13 3.77 / 7.74 10.4 / 21.8 BETA_ SN2S_ AAB68717_ 0000027_ 0880_ 0-- localhost Pending Validation 13/07/13 01:27:43 13/07/13 10:14:32 3.73 / 8.46 11.3 / 0.0 ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by Ian_UK at Jul 15, 2013 7:17:25 PM] |

Thanks for the info Maugan
---------------------------------------- Sgt.Joe seems to have taken over from herflick in producing a weejkt report on FAAH pogress. This is the latest (posted Jul 15, 2013 4:03:08 AM): WEEKLY UPDATE - based on work averaged over the last 8 weeks: Current Batch - 43061 Projected Days Left - 41 Projected End Date - August 24, 2013 Experiment Completion - 81.3% Projected WU remaining approximately 9,985,000 The pace is still accelerating with over 2,600,000 WU in the last seven days. If the pace continues at the rate of the last seven days, the projection reduces to August 9, 2013. From the status update on the website posted on 7-10-2013 of 69% completion my estimates are probably on the too optimistic side by 3 or 4%. IF the present rate continues, we are either inside the 30 day window or very close to it for the remaining work to be issued. Once the remaining work is issued there is always the 10 days of processing for those with large caches and the resends of non valid WU's, so the ultimate completion of this experiment will probably be sometime in late August/ early September. Once again, the boarding of additional experiments and/or new projects may change all of this speculation. Cheers |

Morning team!
----------------------------------------![]() Until this ridiculous heatwave finishes (hopefully sooner rather than later), I've wound back the crunching on my gaming PC as my flat isn't air-conditioned and it was getting a little warm. Have set it to finish the current cache of tasks, but will be leaving it idle until we get sensible weather back again. My other machines all live within an industrially air-conditioned data-centre, so no worries about them getting hot, but I have to keep an eye on my machines at home... ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Thargor at Jul 16, 2013 2:45:40 PM] |
