gordoma continues to close on a Global5000 RunTime ranking - 10 days. Down in the seldom mentioned depths
of the UK team robjr RunTime and RussellBest Points have strung together 7days of positive crunching to register on the radar though at 2,000+ days to rank, it will need to be a sustained effort for sometime to come.

My points should start to rise soon, once HFCC starts to validate consistently (70 days in pVal right now).

Yesterday's crunching took the UK team past MYCHAT@TAIWAN some days earlier than expected, to #78 in the Results rankings. Next up is BOINCstats 8 days, followed by ek$i sozluk cpu power at 14 days.

No worries crooks_uk. As you're the guv'nor, here's a rundown.

I've got a passively cooled 2500k in the corner of my bedroom. It uses a Nofen CR-95C cooler, and also has a passively cooled graphics card (a 6450 I think). I was just using the integrated GPU until the HCC GPU project kicked off, then pulled it out of my 'box of things'. It uses an SSD, and there are no fans, so it's completely silent - I need my sleep.

In my study, I have a 3770k cooled by a Noctua NH-D14, with a pair of Asus 7870 DirectCU II TOP v2 graphics cards - this is the one that's responsible for the crazy points/results.

Obviously I'm getting a huge boost from the current GPU project - without it, with just two machines, I'd be returning 50-60 WUs per day, and getting maybe 50-60k points. Hopefully it'll run for another few months, and maybe lead to some new GPU projects, otherwise I'll be drifting back into obscurity.
