Welcome to our team Bob. We have more points than the UK Boinc team, although I do appreciate that we only have one thread and would love to have a far greater membership. I took over as Captain of the team after the initial Captain stopped crunching. After a few attempts of attempting to kick start a thread, I felt it was unsuccessful. I have since concentrated my efforts on entering team challanges, although I would love any suggestions on how you feel we could boost our numbers.

I've just joined UK my previous team being moribund with a comatose team captain.

I'm a noob on WGC having signed up a month ago when I saw a link in a forum post elsewhere. I think its a great idea that should attract more attention and support than it does. I remember looking at SETI some years ago but I can't remember seeing anything in the mainstream media about WGC or its' support of many worthwhile projects.

One question - Where have all our members gone? I know we have 422 current members but from my observations over the past few days no more than 65 appear to be Active!

Not sure I expected one. It appears common across all the leading UK teams Scottish BOINC apart at 25% Active:Current, none of the others rates higher than 18%.

Browsing through forum posts in general there's a lot of attention paid to recruiting new participants but little mention of those who fall by the wayside.

Interestingly I have you out-performing everyone else in the team, on all three measures, over the last 24 days. 3rd place on Points is imminent and on Run Time won't be too far in the future!
