 I would like to inform, that Help Conquer Cancer will be the first project of the BOINC Pentathlon. For further information visit the BOINC Pentathlon site. Help Conquer Cancer is the elected project in the discipline "World Communiy Grid", hence all credits granted between 05/05/2011, 0.00 (UTC) and 05/10/2011, 0.00 (UTC) will be taken into the BOINC Pentathlon validation. Thus, more workunits will be crunched and the server utilization will increase. I can't expect the exact amount of increased server load, but 26 teams signed up for this competition - including most of the Top10 BOINC-wide teams. Best regards crille |

With help of the Pentathlon too, WCG had a reported May record of 24,244,416 validated results. The daily average for the month was 782,078 validations. Of the total, 11,016,553 were completed for Help Conquer Cancer, doubtlessly the all time highest computed for any science in a month at WCG.

Now, when is "Pentathlon, Mark II" ;? The 3rd. Pentathlon should run in May 2012, but there's no guarantee WCG will be choosen for this, since apparently it's only every 2nd. Pentathlon WCG is choosen as one of the five categories...  "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |

Pentathlon WCG is choosen as one of the five categories... Exactly! Last year we decided in our team to offer WCG every second Pentathlon as one discipline. Good to hear that this year's challenge contributed to a new record in validated results  Edit: ... and as a yearly WCG event our team SETI.Germany organizes again the "WCG Birthday Challenge" in autumn.
