Hello all,
The new work units for Help Fight Childhood Cancer have all been sent out now. If you have this project selected, you can expect to still see some occasional work units for the next couple of weeks that are resends as a result of errors/no-response from the original host the work unit was sent to. Also, please keep in mind that Chiba research team is planning on running additional targets in the coming months (see: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,31178) so more work units will be available then. seippel, thank you for let us know.
----------------------------------------I got someones about one hour ago, and all are normal WU's from batch L4_285. According notice posted days ago in this forum, I expected that the L4_287 will be the last batch at this moment. Anyway dosen't matter. I'm glad to help and colaborate with this project.

I hope the researchers get some great results from the work that was done and can't wait to get more work units in June. :)

I will be leaving HFCC ticked, to get any resends that might come my way, and to be there when it starts up again.

Yeah, me too. I notice the next work unit in line is AIDS, so I guess no more HFCC WU for now.

Seippel, will you move HFCC temporarily to the "intermittent" section when done [same as the last intermission]?
Richard, if you bookmark the Project Stats page and/or the Crunching Chart thread [gone completely off-topic lately], you can see when that last validation is very nigh. For now the tail off has been rapid from when last new work end was announced: Date/Val.WUs 25th 70,702 26th 61,620 27th 33,178 Project progress was frozen on 99.99% till word arrives and resetting to whatever % of total when new target(s) are known... (If same aslast 6, there will be 2.854 million or so per target split in 2 WU's, plus the repair percent which can be derived from total validated WU's of last 3 targets) --//-- (Links for those who're not familiar with these pages) |
