Likely: His boinctats ID is somehow what you used in your signature.
----------------------------------------Not very likely: He hacked your account and inserted his signature. Are you sure you're using the right link? Maybe this link will work for you: http://www.boincstats.com/signature/user_113148_project15.gif |

BoincStats had a database-problem early in March, and due to this the id used on the default signatures was changed for everyone.
----------------------------------------So, goto BoincStats and find your new signature, and update your forum-preferences here with your new signature. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |

Thanks all, it's resolved, but I still don't understand what happened... never mind, Keep on crunchin' No idea how BoincStats has done things, but one likely method is something like this: Project#1-username#1-creation-date-12.12.2005. - got BoincStats-id #1 Project#1-username#2-creation-date-13.12.2005. - got BoincStats-id #2 Project#2-username#1-creation-date-01.01.2006. - same user, got BoincStats-id #1 Project#1-username#3-creation-date-02.01.2006 - got BoincStats-id #3 ... (and many others) WCG starts using BOINC, gets added to BoincStats: Project-WCG-username#456-creation-date-19.11.2005-got BoincStats-id #456. Project-WCG-username#3-creation-date-20.11.2005 - same user, got BoincStats-id #3. Project-WCG-username#457-creation-date-21.11.2005 - got BoincStats-id #457. ... (and so on) Some years later BoincStats has a problem, there the info linking user-name and BoincStats-id gets corrupted beyond a point it's worth repairing with older backups. So, instead of trying to remember when the various BOINC-projects was added, starts re-numbering example like this: Project-WCG-username#456-creation-date-19.11.2005-got oldest creation-date and therefore gets BoincStats-id #1. Project-WCG-username#3-creation-date-20.11.2005 - got BoincStats-id #2. Project-WCG-username#457-creation-date-21.11.2005 - got BoincStats-id #3. Project#1-username#1-creation-date-12.12.2005. - got BoincStats-id #4 Project#1-username#2-creation-date-13.12.2005. - got BoincStats-id #5 Project#2-username#1-creation-date-01.01.2006. - same user, got BoincStats-id #4 Project#1-username#3-creation-date-02.01.2006 - same user, got BoincStats-id #2 ![]() "I make so many mistakes.
