Snagging more here and there. These seem to run about 6-10 minutes longer on average than the first batch.

Out of 24 cores I got 3. ... and I thought they called you "Quick Draw McGraw", nano. (hahaha) I gort 47 and they are still coming in drip by drip. Cheers. Dats cuz you're DA MAN Care to share your beta snagging secrets? Got 6 more. Today it was 100% pure dumb luck. All cores were empty as I was having a bad crunch day and was moving them. Then BOINCtasks lit up the board. Lucky you. BTW, how do you gort 47?

Got two of these on my Q6600 (Win7, x64) today. One just finished in 1:37:33, the other just started a little while ago. I didn't get any of the first round, so can't tell if these are going any slower. The other 3 cores are running C4CW.

I got 17 scatterd out on several different machines. Of those that ran on a I7/860 64bit Win7 hyperthreading at 8 and me doing work on there, it took about 1.7 hours. So I am guessing this batch is a bit longer.....wonder why.

The second finished in 1:34:50 on the Q6600, and a third just came in.

Here are some results from the past few days comparing the Beta to the existing HCC:
----------------------------------------2k3-x86 Win7-x64 WinXP-x86 The 2k3 is one machine. The other two types include multiple machines. Based on this sample and assuming the actual calculations are comparable, it looks like the Beta version is around 34% faster. |
