Please tell me why I can't download.
I've been trying for days. I click on 'download now' but never get to the end. The very 1st time i got it, it went 'unknown time' all night and in the end I tried again. I've sorted out the blocking thingy, 'allowing' it for an hour. Nothing works. Thank you. |

Oddly, had the same thing on my Windows 7 laptop... download started, got to 100%, then went into "unknown remaining time" before the download virus scan could load. Then went to delete the file from the download folder, cleared out the temp folder too and it downloaded fine. The alternate/backup path for the WCG version of 6.10.58 is this, for windows:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/wcg_boinc_6.10.58_windows_intelx86.exe There is no special WCG version of BOINC for Linux or Mac. Let us know how it goes. |
