Reformated and reinstalled boinc and now im geting loads of errors.

Hello !

I reformartted 7 days ago for hardware replacement and installed boinc from 0 . Checking my results status these days i can see that i have loads of errors everyday with cpu time of 0,00 hours.Erros with wu that didnt even start ?

All the units with working time and finished are reporting points well....but i have like 5 or 6 error every day , and today , day 16 , i have 25 errors with 0,00 cpu time.

Anyone know why is this happening and what can i dot to fix this issue ?

Hi Xabierr,

Without Result logs (for error codes) or BOINC Messages (for Setup information), it's a wild guess, but tasks even failing before starting suggests the disk permissions might not be set correct [Installer should do that correctly], or your Security software is badly interfering.

Thx for your answer..disk permissions ? i installed also new SSD ,is my first ssd not sure if i should configure something for boinc.

...is this the log your talking about ?=

OK, that's one 'novel to WCG rare error' pointer. Plz also post BOINC startup message log... some 30-40 lines.

Linux 64 bit? Got all the libs to run 32 bit sciences? Was reading something month or 2 ago about the Linux SSD drivers still being in development.

Looks fine, default install, except you installed as user xabier and not as service with all user, which is better. BOINC will load even before you sign in..

If errors continue do a project-reset in BOINC Manager so it fetches everything WCG freshly, including the science apps
