I aborted task HFCC_ L3_ 01870748_ L3_ 0001_ 0-- today. It was stuck at 8.3% all day, but when I had a chance to look at my PC this afternoon, I found it had 0% of the CPU cycles (only thing taking CPU was "system idle processes"). It had taken over 12 hours so far. I looked on the FAQ page, and saw a "Stuck Task" entry, where CPU is 100%, but not 0%. Strange.

If this happens in the future, you should usually be able to get it started again by restarting the BOINC agent. Seippel |

Hi Seippel--
I am running BOINC Version 6.10.58 Yeah -- I guess I could have restarted BOINC Agent. The WU was reassigned and someone else completed it in a little over 4 hours. So was probable that my PC hiccuped or something. Thanks for your response. |
