World Community Grid, am I contributing?

Hi, I am new to distributed grids, but had downloaded the World Community Grid application that opens a BOINC agent.
The app had been installed to all 3 of my computers and login with one same profile. All three of my computers ran the app for 2 days straight with 100% CPU power, but when I checked my profile, it seemed that none had finished. There are tasks running on my computer and some of it was finished and reported (according to the 'Messages' tab).
Statistics were a zero for the second day now. I had also attached the app to the BOINCSTATS BAM! and is already attached through the website, but its also a zero.
Besides, I checked my profile for devices and there are no devices listed! Am I wasting my CPU power on nothing?
Is there anything wrong with my procedures or my settings? Am I contributing?
Urgent help is needed.

Re: World Community Grid, am I contributing?

Hello SupremeQuantum, welcome to WCG and the forums!

To see how your devices are doing go to the "My Grid" tab and click on "Results Status" link on the left side of the screen. This will bring up a listing of all the work units (WU) you have downloaded and processed. I suspect that what you will find is a number of them with the status of "Pending Validation". What this means is that your device has completed the WU and is waiting for the other copies of the same WU to be returned and validated. This link http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=6105#86841 will explain what the different status values mean.

As Sekerob explains in this post, if you click on the Result Name you will see how many WU there are in the Quorum, the status of each copy and the date required to be returned.

I think your devices have processed WUs with a Quorum of 2 or more and the WUs are waiting for validation. Until a WU is validated it is not credited to you and the credit will not show up in your "My Grid" or the "Device Stats" pages. Once validated it does.

It took about 2 days before I saw any results when I first joined, so give it a little time and the credits will appear.
