I also experience this when I reboot my computers. I tried hibernation, but that, too, also produces the error. If you look more closely at the computer that you think is not experiencing the problem, you may find it there, too. I originally thought that it happened only with one of my computers, but it happens with at least two of the three I have. I have a problem: I can't finish ceckpoint 14: it continues restarting after about 2h of computatiom. What is the problem?

I do not know. I probably could not even if you included a lot of information about that work unit and your system. But does it matter? The jobs are in order of their importance. The researchers might be able to tell how interesting a molecule is (or is not) with just the first 3 jobs. With results from 13 jobs, they know plenty about that molecule. If it will not return the results after 12 hours are up (better wait for 13 hours just to be sure), then abort it. If a work unit will not return after enough time has elapsed, let the project scientists worry about it. Lawrence |

The problem is that I can't arrive at 12h, because it arrives at 10h, then come back to 9h. The WU is E200876_892_A.28.C22H12N2OS3.176.3.set1d06_0. My pc is a Processor: 1 AuthenticAMD AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+ [Family 15 Model 47 Stepping 0] emory: 2.00 GB physical, 3.85 GB virtual. OS: Windows XP |
